The Art & Heart of Focusing: Advanced Focusing Training, Consultation & Practice Group
This group offers continuing training and support to graduates of the Core Focusing Training Program who want to further deepen their understanding of Focusing and learn more about facilitating the process for others. The group might also address optimal ways to introduce Focusing into client sessions, how to work with various scenarios that might arise, as well as to address using Focusing to work with dreams.
The group has four components:
- Addressing questions that have come up in your own Focusing practice, as well as in your practice with others.
- Practice guiding Focusing sessions for other participants and receiving helpful, constructive feedback from the trainer and other members of the group.
- Observing Ruth guiding Focusing sessions, with time for feedback, questions and answers following each session.
- Learning how to work with people new to Focusing.
The Consultation group meets once/month via Zoom.
Group limited to a maximum of 6 participants.
The group is highly recommended for participants in the Focusing Practitioner & Trainer Certification Program.
What you receive:
- Ongoing monthly two-hour meetings
- Recordings from each of the sessions
- Occasional suggested reading to supplement in-session presentations and discussion
- Option for regular Focusing practice with partners from the group
- Membership in private Facebook Group
Commitment & Fee:
The fee for six consecutive meetings is $325.
Pre-requisites:
